Relative truth is defined as truth according to one individual or a certain group of people who adheres to a belief system not necessarily true or right for others.

Relative Truth or Relativism – It’s a truth relative only to ones personal opinion, belief and perceive benefit.

Relativism is subjective…Subjected only for the benefit of the perceiver.

What is absolute Truth?

That which his right for all people, for all places and at all times. Truth that crosses all tribal, social, cultural and economic beliefs.

We all believe “Absolutes”

1. Absolute Standard of Materials

2. Absolute Standard of Measurement

3. Absolute Monetary Exchange

4. Moral Absolutes

The Bible / God’s Words – Reference Point of Absolute Morality

“The object of the Bible is not to tell how good men are, but how bad men can become good.” —Dwight L. Moody

“The Bible shows the way to go to heaven, not the way the heavens go.” – Galileo Galilei

Religion is much more a culture to most people than it is a carefully thought-through system of truth. ― Ravi Zacharias, The Logic of God: 52 Christian Essentials for the Heart and Mind

2 Thessalonians 2:1.3 (NIV)
[1] Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers,

[3] Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for [that day will not come] until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-10 (NIV)
[7] For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. [8] And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. [9] The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, [10] and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

1. The coming of the anti-Christi is accordance with the works of Satan . Satan is the father of lies.

2. It will be marked by falsehood – false signs, false miracles and deception apart from the truth.

Being opened minded is being noble.

A person is born into the kingdom of God by the word of God…

Being a new creation in Christ has a new life, new appetite and a new world view.
