The Cause, the Consequence and The Cure

1. Sin is the Cause

 “God saw everything that He had made , and it was very good” – Genesis 1 : 31

“Sin came into the world because of what one man did, and with sin came death.” Rom. 5:12 (NCV)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJV

2. Consequences of sin.

  • Natural disasters

3. Jesus is the cure (for our messed up world)

  •  Jesus is the Only Savior.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, i through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith…Rom. 3: 23 – 25 NIV

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ…

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom. 5: 1 NIV

  • Jesus will sustain you with hope.

  • Jesus will strengthen you with peace.
